Matt Kruft

Matt is a guitarist, producer, audio engineer and educator from Baltimore, Maryland.

Now based in New Orleans, he graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies. He has over fifteen years teaching experience and has had the opportunity to teach with jazz master Donald Harrison, Jr. through the Tipitina’s Foundation.

You can find him featured prominently as a writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist for Sinead Angele, Kirkland Green, Tajh and the Funky Soles and Electric Baker. You can also find him touring with the Mardi Gras Indian funk band, Cha Wa.

Matt is available for live performance and recording, private lessons and audio engineering or mixing services.
